DAY ONE
ENTER THE WORLD OF TERRABONA
Arrive at Terrabona in the afternoon and settle into your private villa among the vineyards of the Boaventura Valley.
Your journey begins, naturally, with a glass of Terrabona wine.
Then, time to arrive.
Walk through the vineyard. Rest beside the pool. Listen to the valley. Or simply do nothing.
As evening falls, we invite you to the first table of the retreat.
TERRABONA FAMILY HARVEST
A PRIVATE VERTICAL TASTING
Different years. The same vineyard.
An intimate vertical tasting of selected Terrabona vintages, exploring how time, climate and each growing season leave their mark on the wines.
Accompanied by a selection of pairing tapas, the tasting is also an opportunity to discover the stories behind the vintages — the easy years, the difficult ones, the decisions made in the vineyard and the memories held inside each bottle.

DAY TWO
BEYOND THE BOTTLE
Wake slowly and enjoy our Slow Down Breakfast in the privacy of your villa.
Later that morning, step into the landscape surrounding Terrabona.
Accompanied by a local guide, enter the ancient Laurissilva of the Boaventura Valley and discover the natural world that surrounds our vineyards — the forest, water, altitude, humidity and Atlantic influence that make this corner of Madeira unlike anywhere else.
Return to Terrabona for a light lunch.
The afternoon then takes you beyond our estate.
MADEIRA WINE EXPERIENCE
There are parts of Madeira's wine story that are better experienced than explained.
For one afternoon, we invite you to discover another side of the island's extraordinary wine culture through an experience created especially for this journey.
We will leave the details for later.
Some experiences are better kept as a surprise.
A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE
As afternoon becomes evening, we make our way towards Funchal.
When Atlantic conditions allow, there may be one more small surprise along the way.
A brief private sail across Funchal Bay.
Half an hour at sea.
Madeira from another perspective.
And a glass of wine to raise to the island.
Back on shore, the evening continues with an intimate fine-dining dinner at Gazebo Restaurant in Funchal.

DAY THREE
A DAY AT TERRABONA
Today, there is nowhere else to go.
Wake slowly.
Enjoy your Slow Down Breakfast.
And spend the day with us.
This is a day to experience Terrabona not simply as a place to stay, but as a living vineyard.
Depending on the season and what the vines ask of us, you may join Maria and Marco in some of the small rituals of vineyard life — perhaps green pruning, perhaps another task entirely.
There is no demonstration vineyard here.
This is simply what needs to be done that day.
A light lunch is served at Terrabona before the afternoon moves from vineyard to body.
Experience a private vinotherapy ritual, a massage with locally sourced grape-seed oil and time to enjoy our Immersive Spa at your own pace.

And as evening falls, one final table awaits.

TAKE THE VINTAGE WITH YOU
Wake without an alarm.
Enjoy one final Slow Down Breakfast overlooking the vineyard and a quiet morning at Terrabona before your departure.
When it is time to leave, your private airport transfer will be waiting.
But one final bottle will follow you home.
After your stay, we will send you a bottle from the Terrabona Guest Collection — a reminder of the vineyard, the valley and the people you have come to know.
Perhaps, when you open it, Madeira will feel a little closer again.

Accommodation, experiences and meals described in the retreat are included, together with the specified private transfers.

The retreat will take place with a minimum of four participating guests.
The brief sail across Funchal Bay and all outdoor experiences are subject to weather and sea conditions.
The seasonal vineyard experience will be adapted to the natural cycle of the vines and the work taking place in the vineyard at the time of the retreat.
